RX 5500 XT with Ryblows a 3400G away for gaming purposes. Sure, it's twice as much as a Ryzen 5 APU, but then gaming performance is typically about 3X better as well. Generally speaking, for desktops, I'd just get a cheap CPU like Ry(3600 if you can manage the budget) and a modest graphics card.
